A lot have already been mentioned.

I want to mention one more Christopher Nolan flick, I thought he was brilliant in:

The Prestige

Every great magic trick consists of three parts or acts. The first part is called "The Pledge". The magician shows you something ordinary: a deck of cards, a bird or a man. He shows you this object. Perhaps he asks you to inspect it to see if it is indeed real, unaltered, normal. But of course... it probably isn't. The second act is called "The Turn". The magician takes the ordinary something and makes it do something extraordinary. Now you're looking for the secret... but you won't find it, because of course you're not really looking. You don't really want to know. You want to be fooled. But you wouldn't clap yet. Because making something disappear isn't enough; you have to bring it back. That's why every magic trick has a third act, the hardest part, the part we call "The Prestige"."

I love when he narrates.

Too Late the Hero is one I've always enjoyed watching when I happen to catch it. Second Hand Lions is also fun.

I don't have any favorites to add, but I do have a favorite quote. When asked about Jaws 4: The Revenge, he replied, "I have never seen it, but by all accounts, it was terrible. However, I have seen the house that it built, and it is terrific."

That's not the only one. Caine has been forthright about accepting roles simply to remain active, productive, and maintain a steady income. His salary for Jaws 4 was $1.5 million in 1987 dollars, and he got to bring his family w/ him to spend a couple weeks in the Bahamas where it was filmed.

I havent seen all of his films.

Of the ones I did see:
The Prestige
Zulu
Kingsman the Secret Service
Escape to Victory
Mr Destiny

Even though some of these roles arent leading, his parts are nevertheless fine acting.

I saw Deathtrap years ago and thought it was phenomenal. I have it recorded on the DVR to watch again, but haven't yet.

My favorite of his is The Fourth Protocol. Excellent spy flick.

What's it all about ALFIE......

I was a student at the Free University of Berlin in 1965-66. Once on the campus a movie was being filmed, and I was told by one of the workers it was Funeral in Berlin. But the actor I saw was George Segal, so later I found out it was The Quiller Memorandum. The scene was supposed to be an elementary school, but was really the Henry Ford building IIRC. It's all make-believe, of course.

The Fourth Protocol. Caine as usual was very good, but I remember this film for the performance of Pierce Brosnan.
