They seem to just yell or scream and I’d prefer the music either without vocals or a more singing vocals.

“I’m Shipping up to Boston” is great until they start singing.

Pogues
The O'Reillys and the Paddyhats have one or two decent songs too.

Street Dogs.

The singer for the Dropkicks who left after Do or Die (their first album) started his own band.

And check out the older Dropkick albums. Warriors Code was kind of their breakout because of that song and The Departed. Older stuff was better IMO.

The Dreadnaughts are my pick.

But I’m looking forward to listening to some of the suggestions!

Knowing what one is talking about is widely admired but not strictly required here.

Although sometimes distracting, there is often a certain entertainment value to this easy standard.

Thanks for this thread. I am not huge into this genre but I used to listen to Flatfoot 56 Knuckles Up album a ton when it came out.
Had not thought about them in years.

I’ve seen flatfoot 56 several times live. Definitely the most fun I’ve ever had at a show. However, I am partial to their Jungle of the MidWest Sea album.

I'm a huge fan of Celtic Rock.

My personal favorites are Gaelic Storm (still together, still recording):

And Great Big Sea (broke up in 2013 after 20 years):

As an additional note, Alan Doyle (formerly of GBS) now performs as a solo act. This one's with Canadian country star Dean Brody:
