Beato is a great interviewer and musician.

SS, thanks for posting that interview; I enjoyed it! It's funny, many of Beato's interviews involve language and concepts I have no idea about, but I still find the discussion interesting. As mdblanton says, he's a great interviewer (and musician) and that's a testament to his abilities. Interesting even if I don't know what the hell he's talking about.

^ ditto. As well as his interview with drummer Simon Phillips, way over my head but dovetailed nicely with Terry Browns' discussion about mic arrangements etc. Beato capturing these stories like a modern Foxfire interview is amazing.
