If you're goin' through hell, keep on going. Don't slow down. If you're scared don't show it. You might get out before the devil even knows you're there.

EXCELLENT thread monkey! Thank you for creating it.
Yeah I’ll admit it I liked Hawthorne Heights back in the day and this country meets emo/screamo mash of Ohio is for Lovers that I just recently discovered has me quite conflicted.

Yeah I got to see this tour also even got the box set, sadly it’s VHS and cassette tape.

But we all need a little distraction or a little distance once in a while.
Wow so many songs that do not fit sigmonkey’s sentiment. I am preparing to write, something I have not done in two decades. I was moved because at the end of last week I decided my family needed to be in full “Hurricane” mode. We have jobs that can not be done remotely and most likely will continue even if a no travel order was in place. I now realize while the shift in thinking and preparedness are needed so is Hope and Joy. All of that made me think of this lyric:
Don't you feel it growing, day by day People getting ready for the news Some are happy, some are sad ... What the people need is a way to make them smile It ain't so hard to do if you know how Gotta get a message, get it on through
I might post my “column” here in few days after I get my thoughts together.
