Mindcrime was/is such a great record. I saw that Livecrime tour three times back then, and have managed to see Queensryche eight times in my life because they'd open for big metal bands too.

By now there are versions of their songs with American guests singing in English, but I prefer the originals. Mongolian Metal, baby.

Meanwhile regarding pandemics, Ghost spring to mind from Sweden.



Their other disease video is vampire-themed, but the song is actually about people partying like it's 1399 back in the times of the Black Death.
