Set in the same universe as both the original two movies and Prey, this 90-minute animated movie follows three people from different eras as they're each pitted against a Predator.

I really enjoyed it. It gives yet another unique glimpse at the Predator culture. I wouldn't say it's a must-see, but it definitely adds substance to the universe.

I might get to it because I love Predator anthologies (especially the Dark Horse days), but the glitchy frame skipping that Into the Spiderverse made popular again drives me nuts.

The first two parts were awesome. The pilot one sucked.

I agree, the pilot's story was weak. Whatever the male version of a Mary Sue is, he's it.

I loved the animation style. I also agree the pilot could have been cut, but then they would have had to rewrite the ending.

I still think there would have been plenty of more historically interesting choices other than a pilot.

I'm in the minority. I wasn't impressed at all. The animation looked like a really cool cut scene from a 10 year old game that someone was playing on a system that didn't quite meet recommended spec. It seemed to get better as time went on, but the frame rate was so glitchy at the beginning I thought something was wrong with my data connection. The voice acting was weak. I didn't like the character design of the Predators. I didn't like how the big reveal chopped the legs out from under any potential Prey sequel.

I did like the second story set in Japan, but not enough to overcome the first and third acts.

I loved Predator. I think it is a franchise that could be explored and built upon, but so far other than the first movie and Prey it's been one disappointment after another. but maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old man who wants the Predator to get off his lawn...

I've watched first x3 of them. I liked them. Really like the Japanese and Viking ones.
