I'm actually enjoying it more. At least they are making an effort instead of laying down.

I've always been a fan. In the early years I'd watch an episode intently. These last few episodes and most of season 7 I've had my iPad out surfing while watching. Just not holding my attention anymore. Let's hope that changes.

What was that at the end? Was Rick rubbing one out? Is that what you do when stuck in an enclosed space?

Call me crazy but I'm watching the show with a certain degree of trepidation.

Expecting the alien vessels to land any moment now.

Watching with very low expectations helps reduce the weekly disappointment. Khorl, if I've told you once I've told you a thousand times, STOP LEAVING THE COMPOUND ALONE!!

Rosita using the RPG was another letdown, we saw it coming. Now when Daryl blew up the biker guys two year ago, that was a big surprise and well set up.

Did anyone not make a shamefully stupid choice last night? Two episodes left this "season", how many regulars' heads are on the block?

This article pretty much nails it. One spot on paragraph:

Characters acting dumb bothers me. I've mentioned Carl's foolish attack of those zombies and Michonne's weird need to see the Sanctuary despite it being dangerous and foolhardy. Rick going to the Trash People is another. This stuff adds up. You can only have so many characters make bad choices at once.

This was verified on The Talking Dead. Lennie James (Morgan) was on. As bad as TWD may be, Fear is inferior. Maybe I'm wrong but James didn't seen happy about the change. Off and on, Morgan has be been part of TWD since the beginning, he has to be very close to that cast and crew.

Fear is a sour and unlovable show, James can't bring enough to make it anything other than a pale imitation.

What's throwing me off are the references to previous events like I'm supposed to remember. Like in the show before last, the guy that crept up on Rick in the baby room: "Weren't you in Georgia?"

And this last episode, Daryl and the girl agreeing to kill someone off because of something that happened (I think) some seasons back. For these things, I need a short flashback scene. But nooo, they put in flashback scenes that I've never seen before as part of the new story.

So confusing.

"It did not really matter what we expected from life, but rather what life expected from us. We needed to stop asking about the meaning of life, and instead to think of ourselves as those who were being questioned by life – daily and hourly. Our answer must consist not in talk and meditation, but in right action and in right conduct. Life ultimately means taking the responsibility to find the right answer to its problems and to fulfill the tasks which it constantly sets for each individual." Viktor Frankl, Man's Search for Meaning, 1946.

The gal who wants revenge, I forget what her name is, was the lez lover of the almost "doc" at Alexandria. She (the "doc") got a bolt in the dome from burnt two-face Dwight on the railroad tracks 2(?) seasons ago.

And yes, this shit is dragging on like molasses in winter. Freaking GET ON WITH IT.

Her name in the series is Tara. Negan could have been shot-dead; by Dwight, or anybody else, when they caught him alone. Most of time, he only has his barb-wired bat. Problem solved! The rest of cast seem like a bunch of wayward clowns, trying to get themselves killed. Only a dumbass, would trust that trash lady Jadis twice [her name means 'witch' in Persian, as I understand it]. I surmise, that one of the major players will be killed-off during the mid-season cliff-hanger.

This show is getting retarded. What the hell was Daryl thinking? He cleared the grounds of walkers and gave the Saviors a perfect means of escape. Of course, the Saviors were too dumb to realize it (or else they would have thought of it first and let the walkers in so that they could escape from another part of the building into the now-empty surroundings.

And that scene at the Trash dump? WTF? If they wanted to kill Rick - why didn't they just open the door to his cargo container and shoot him in the head. Why devise this silly means of execution with a walker on a stick?

The writers keep coming up with silly ways for the characters to make stupid decisions so that they can live to fight another day. It's getting old.

I get a bigger kick out of Erik Kain at Forbes writing about this steaming pile of crap than I could ever get out of watching it.
Worst gaggle of writers ever assembled. They don’t know what they want to accomplish and have no idea how actual humans behave.
