Haven't ripped cds to mp3 to play on my shuffle for a long time mostly because it requires a PC as far as I'm aware. However, since my receiver has Bluetooth I picked up a BT transmitter that I can plug into my Discman and play through my stereo. It can actually connect to 2 devices at the same time so it will also play to the soundbar and it's subwoofer simultaneously. I'm also looking at a separate DAC for my Toshiba CD player to upgrade the DAC chip. I can also connect the transmitter to the back of my phono pre-amp, not the best but it works. It's nice to listen to music and ignore all the crap going on. A new year's resolution of sorts.
