ETA:The past ten days or so have seen three artists pass on; all age 82. Sly Stone, Brian Wilson, and Lou Christie. Bummer to the third power. An interesting note while looking on-line; one of the backing singers on this Lou Christie hit was Lesley Gore (according to the Wiki).

I remember doing my homework way back when, and Lou Christie came on the old AM radio station. "Rhapsody in the Rain"; which was quite spicy for '66.

He was a good singer and managed to last for a long time.
