You can totally destroy a car while jumping it and it will be brand new in the next scene

Schoolhouse Rock lessons were better than PBS.

If it's important, it will be shown in slow motion.

Takes only three licks to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop.

Dang right! My first job in healthcare there were ashtrays in the doc's dictation room, the nurse's station, the ER waiting room... Good times! Big Grin

The smoking thing was of course not just teevee fantasy.

Nonsmokers were the rare ones and we had little recourse to avoid exposure to other people’s smoke. But the good part was that we, like them, assumed that secondhand smoke was nothing more than an annoyance.

There are many things I wish the “government” (i.e., my fellow citizens) had kept their meddling fingers out of, but I heartily approved of the antismoking laws and rules.

Growing up with movies and TV, like the aforementioned quicksand, I thought banana peels would pose a far greater public safety hazard than they turned out to.

Pam Grier was HOT!
I'd take MaryAnn over Ginger.

Every Cop or Cop duo had a Pimp as an informant.
Cops tested drugs by putting it on their finger and tasting it.
Majority of accidents landed up with a car going airborne (a lot went airborne because of an explosion)

To "Do It Like Pruitt" meant getting the trucking job done.

Infiltrating and breaking up a criminal gang started with the words: "Well, Pepper...looks like you'll be going undercover!"

"Moving On" and "Police Woman" if one needs the TV series on DVD.

Been driving a truck for over 30 years, I was sure at some point I’d have a chimp issued to me. I have not been chased through a mountain pass, no tires shot, nor have I hung out at a diner flirting with waitresses and picking up hitchhikers.

If you’re a millionaire you can start up your own detective agency and hire (preferably three)hot chicks to solve crimes.

If you’re a mysterious, possibly immortal man with magical powers, you can have your own island, where you charge people money to teach them valuable life lessons.
