Is anything and everything probably cause ?

If a cop lights you up and pulls you over,
Can they just start searching the whole car , inside and out?


Low tire, broke light, crucifix hanging on the rear view mirror.

This show has me confused.

From a legal standpoint, they need a lot more than low tires or broken tail lights to search a car. I haven't seen the show(s), so there might be more going on.
