I have to have some sort of something to fall asleep. Usually it’s the TV as my wife does not like to fall asleep to music.
On occasion I go sleep in one of the kids rooms because they come in our bedroom and they usually flip and flop so I go to their room. I have compiled a few albums that absolutely help me fall asleep quick.
My middle boy has pneumonia and has had a 103-104 fever for 6 days now. Mom says whenever they have a high fever they have to sleep with her so she can check on them every 37 seconds. So I have been sleeping in the boy’s room and get to fall asleep to music.

Here is my list with the best help sleeping at the top.

Robert Miles - Dreamland (however, I always have some crazy vivid dreams when I fall asleep to this)
1000 Portraits and Waterdeep - Enter the Worship Circle
Deas Vail - All the Houses Look the Same
Chris Rice - Living Room Sessions, Deep Enough to Dream, and Past the Edges
Snow Patrol - No particular album just put the name into Prime and let it play
The Postal Service - No Particular album either

Probably have a few more nights before the kiddo is back to normal and sleeping in his room again so looking to add some more options to my slumber overtures.

Any music I enjoy will generally put me to sleep. It just naturally relaxes me.

Country, classical, jazz, vocals, 70's - if I like, I can sleep to it. Of course, I need to be a little tired / sleepy first. I need to be in a sleep ready state. I won't nod off, for example, if I'm listening while driving my car.

Quickest may be bossa nova (ie - Astrud or Bebel G).

I usually don't have a problem, but I have found if I need a nap during the day, usually when down with a cold etc, I turn the TV on some daytime show or a movie I have little interest in and I am out like a light

There are two music playlists that I use. Both are Pink Floyd.

The first is Brit Floyd Live at Red Rocks. I don't have the CD or DVD, so I listen though YT. I think it's from 2013?? If I'm at work and want to cat nap.....I'll pull up the video and chill.

My other play list is Pink Floyd. I'll listen to Animals, Wish You Were Here and Dark Side of The Moon.

I sometimes nod off with Bluetooth cans. I can listen to just about anything and fall asleep these days...even when I wasn't intending to. For me it's about the volume level rather than the music itself. Set low like background white noise, and I'm out like a cheap light bulb.

Back in the day, Eric Serra’s The Big Blue OST worked miracles for me. You can listen to it endlessly and not pay any attention to it.

Serra has very interrsting OST

Harold Budd and Brian Eno have been my gotos since college. I have never made it through their entire The Pearl album awake when I've listened to it in bed.

Also, The Blue Nile's Hats.

Some music that I listen to for sleeping.

Roberto Lara, solo guitar. This was free from ads, but may now suffer. Otherwise quite serene.

Haroldo Forcillo, solo guitar. Serene also.

Dorothy Ashby, Jazz Harpist.

Clare de Lune, classically quiet. 44M views so it is used by others for sleeping.

Shakuhchi Flute.
