You might add being drunk at the time of viewing with some eighth graders waiting for the soft porn. {Just kidding with you, we all have different tastes}

The wife and I watched most of e-1. I think that was enough for us; quite a let down after seeing Costner in The Highwaymen.

Binged both seasons of Yellowstone over the last couple weeks.
Enjoyed it overall, not a lot of 'downtime' in any of the episodes.

For anyone interested that hasn't seen the announcement, season 4 premiers on November 7th. We'll be tuned in, for sure.

I got through season 1 and, for the most part, thought it was okay.

Started season 2 and had to shut it off after Monica got into the classroom as a professor and started in on the BLM version of Christopher Columbus - in addition to the producers inserting their Hate-All-White-Males message with their portrayal of one of the students.

I was hopeful that the Dean sitting in on her class would have calibrated Monica regarding her bullshit lecture, but he supported her. And the constant bitching from the Indians about how the white man treated them gets old real fast - especially when their "Native American" history is full of them doing the same shit to each other.

For those that have watched all the seasons, does this crap ever end or even get addressed with the other, and accurate, side of the story?

If not - in the words of The Critical Drinker - "Fuck off show!"

Edit to add (Spoilers): I have zero sympathy for any health issues the characters in this series have because not one of them ever listens to a doctor when given medical advice.

Example 1: Monica after she had her head injury and the school nurse said she should get a proper evaluation from a doctor. Didn't do it and had complications requiring major surgery and has continuing issues.

Example 2: John Dutton needing emergency surgery for a bleeding ulcer after his doctor recommended an examination months prior that would have found the problem, and could have treated it with just medication (doctor's words when Dutton decides to check himself out of the hospital against doctor's advice).

One of the reasons I gave up on the Walking Dead around season 4 was that the writers of the show never had the characters learn from previous mistakes. The same with this series.

Sadly many people fail to learn from their mistakes. Criminals are the best example.

Most recent episode Nov 28. Introducing more characters and plots. Beginning to look like General Hospital soap opera.

Add to the above. Rip is behaving like he is the boss of Cell Block D. A little ridiculous with the kid and one of the ranch hands. The side plot of Dutton with the animal rights activist is equally stupid. I am waiting for the clowns to come in. {not the rodeo kind}.

ZSMICHAEL,

Yeah, instead of sticking with the "kill Dutton family" plot and Beth wreaking hate and destruction, the writers flirt with woke but settle for this horseshit (pun intended) with a Covert Affair (Big Grin) and stupid shit spawned by girls living in the bunkhouse. The Jimmy sub-plot is equally lame.

Mini-RIP should take up the harmonica with Johhny Puleo (RIP) as his muse but start by playing the tune Bronson does in Once Upon a Time in the West. This would inject some much needed humor. Big Grin

Oh well... first 3 seasons were pretty good.

I thought this season started out with the first episode being great. Its been downhill and picking up speed ever since.
I have a bad feeling about the rest of the series.
I have adopted a new critiquing formula for movies/series, If its made after 2020 (during covid) I hold my nose and watch with my finger on the controller ready to turn off. Everything made during Covid is jam packed with WOKE SHIT.
