Love this movie and all the Cold War, Pro American symbolism in it.
Todays movies are afraid or opposed to depict American greatness.

Other good action/gun play movies of the era I have recently streamed include:
Lets get Harry
Uncommon Valor
The Final Option (aka Who Dares Win)
Falling Down
The Wild Geese
The Survivors
The Dogs of War

Every movie you just listed is awesome.
The Wild Geese has made me want to shoot a Bren gun at least once in my life.
It's crazy how you can just put that big muzzle nut on any machinegun and it just looks like a Dshska.

True. But he was very fond of the shotgun, carving his kills in it.

Great flick, I need to watch it again one of these days.

"Why you wanna die boy? Why?"

Tex Cobb was great. Funny guy in real life too.

Tough SOB too, went toe to toe with Larry Holmes, took a bad beating and still made it to the after party before Holmes.
