I saw it posted here once but can’t find it. What was the actual technical model number and class, etc...?

Cool thanks. We’re brainstorming for new project names. We go through themes for a while, then change themes. Almost all the machines I work on are laser based. Past project names or code names have included:
-silver
-cadmium
-tantalum
-tin

-Ghidora

-Rubicon
-Colorado
-Rio Grande

-Athos
-Porthos

-Redstone
-Gemstone
-Cornerstone
-Capstone

They never use my suggestions...
-Gallstone
-Kidneystone
-Tombstone
-Stonehenge (product logo would be the band Spinal Tap)
-FRED (F***ing Ridiculous Electronic Device)

The question came up during our last meeting about the name of the Death Star laser, so we all went digging.

Maybe we’ll try DS1-MK1.

Or just pick cool Star Wars names like “Tiberian” or something like that. Our current project is named after a character from a really old SNL skit.

Thanks.

Tony.
