What do you think of them? I have to travel now for work, and it looks like it could be a fun travel toy while sitting in a hotel.

They seem a little chintzy, but maybe they are more robust than I am thinking

My son has one. It’s pretty neat how it goes from handheld to the TV. I find the ergonomics are pretty awful. Check the games as there aren’t a lot that are interesting, at least not to me.

Was upgrading the network at a Target store and thought it wouldn't hurt to ask if they had any. Got one on the first day.

Took it apart and put it in a clear case because I got bored. The biggest plus for me would be that the Switch is not region coded. If you are in Germany or Japan...

The major studio games I find enjoyable are Zelda BOTW (takes forever), Metroid Dread (oaths and insults fill the air) and Super Robot Wars VTX (a must have if you ever watched anime).

Other games to get are The Untitled Goose Game (must be an asshole goose. There is no other type of goose) as well as Island Flight Simulator (where did that barn come from?) if you can find them.

I couldn't find the Goose game as a cartridge, but the flight simulator can be found instead of downloading it and filling up the expandable memory.

I've never been a fan of the Mario games.

My kid has one. It’s been a lifesaver when traveling. He’s made new friends in the airport playing games with other kids and it’s nice it can be plugged into a tv. He’s had it for three years.

We have one. Breath of the Wild is worth the purchase alone.

Other than that it’s pretty slick. Games are fun, and I don’t mind the ergonomics much in handheld mode, but have a lite (I got because the other one was NEVER available) and it seems a little better/smaller.

Pro controllers are a must if you dock it at all. We’ve gone through a dozen off-brand controllers and they all suck. Stick drift, stuck buttons, bad batteries, etc. The Nintendo brand pro controllers are the only ones that have held up with no failures.
