They're putting in some impressive drives.

I'm a bit surprised they left Magnussen's car in the gravel & didn't go SC/VSC, considering they're 200+ MPH at the end of the straight there.

Looking at replays, it looks like he got it just off line, so unlikely to be a serious collision risk, but expected them to attempt to recover the car.

I think Max just ended his chances he will ever race a red car (called Ferrari cheaters with no hard evidence).
Even if he didn't want to go there anyway, he lost a potential bargaining chip for future negotiations with other teams.

Vettel 1/100th off the pole the day before and they finish over a minute back? Did this directive come down after qualy?

I hated this race, fast forwarded the last half. I turned down an offer to go with a place to stay free near the track. My friend tried to go as cheap as possible, he went Saturday and Sunday, dropped over $500 which did not include any $60 hats or $125 tee shirts.

The big question this weekend, will Ferrari have their engine power advantage back or have the rules clarifications shut them down?

Does it really matter? The season is done. Mercedes have wrapped up the drivers' and constructors' championship trophies. Ferrari is far enough ahead of RBR to claim second place. The only place left to settle is third place on the drivers' podium. No one remembers the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place loser spots.

Gasly 2nd! Felt really bad for Albion. I suspect a penalty is coming for Hamilton. Probably should be to Vettel too but no indication yet.
Lewis apologised, I doubt Seb will do the same.
This will take the officials a while to sort out.

SPOILERS, if you haven’t watched the race yet. It was a good race. Hamilton WAS penalized 5 seconds for the incident with Albon. The penalty put Carlos Sainz on the podium. That means two drivers attained their first podium finishes, Gasly and Sainz. Sainz started the race in 20th position in his McClaren. A McClaren hadn’t finished in the top three since 2014. I honestly thought that perhaps Hamilton wouldn’t be penalized; the door looked to be open. Classy that he went over and personally apologized to Albon. The Vettel/LeClerc incident was incredible. What do you say?

The camera looking straight down the section of the track showed Leclerc driving absolutely straight and Vettel drifting left into him. Vettel claimed HE was driving straight and Leclerc squeezed him. No way. I wonder if Seb will ever admit it, even after looking at the tape.

I don’t know what’s next for Ferrari. Someone needs to get slapped down. They are going to have to tell the drivers that they’ll control the race from the pit wall from now on, and if either driver disobeys any team order, they’ll be sitting out the next race. If Binotto can’t take firm control, maybe he needs to go.
