Nice to see a classic track like that and a beautiful place.
Interesting tactical race with some decent passes and different strategies.
The Ferrari of Hamilton seemed to be in contention then somehow lost it's speed in the later part of the race. The reverse of Piastri's race.
Good to see the front three so close at the end.

That hardly makes me think of Mclaren, and I've been watching F1 for a long time.
Looks more like the Jaguar F1 car from more recent years.

Same. I get the historic content, but that’s going to be lost on the vast majority of people who only know orange as the McLaren color.

Caught the last laps over the shoulder of a guy watching on his phone on the metro. I still have the Sprint, Quali & Race to watch.

The officials managed to turn what should have been a great last lap into a non-event.
Lewis Hamilton has now seen this scenario played out two different ways and came out on the short end both times.
So which way does the rule book call for when only one racing lap would have occurred?
Restart or no restart?

Juan Pablo in post race said he understood this was caused by Leclerc having already crossed safety car line on second to last lap when they let the lapped cars through. That meant they had to have one additional lap after that to allow them to clear.

I've not seen that verified. Of course the other story post race was the Safety Car In message was caused by an error in the FIA software. WTH?

Lots of chatter about how they should red flag or make other provisions to finish under green. For the love, do NOT turn this into the endless green/white/checker of NASCAR...

A better solution might be to have the lap down cars fall behind the lead lap cars. Much quicker that way.
Not that this is a common occurrence, but it really did screw up what would have been an exciting ending.

Second tier sources mostly, but lots of smoke around the "Oscar states he's looking to leave" fire.
An OP/MV swap would be fascinating. Lando would freak out.

Lots of rumors around the drivers right now but until someone in a key position makes a move to start the ball rolling, not much action.
I'm waiting to see how the redesigned Mk2 Aston Honda goes. They need both the engine and chassis to take a great leap forward, not just slowly creep up into the midfield.
Will Adrian Newey keep his F1 genius reputation or this put a big dent in his reputation if it flops?

Free Aston Martin Lego set with purchase of 5 quarts of Valvoline

Something for the Aston fans.

They are definitely losing money on this promotion.

Looks like Lego replaced Shell with Valvoline?

I do need an oil change in both cars. Usually stick with Mobil1, but might make a 1 time swap for it.

Actually, I do use Valvoline in the Midget [VR1] so I could stock up for it, as well...
