Isn't that how it is in the book? Arya's Direwolf is the pack leader of a group that hunts down Lannister soldiers?

They've done it several times with various other famous (and semi-famous) musicians in previous seasons, but none were as prominent as this cameo, and none were as famous/recognizable as Ed Sheeran. Usually they're just extras, like wedding musicians and Wildlings.

I suspect the encounter was to remind Arya that she has a mission, and a list of people to kill. Lannister footmen aren't on her list, and I don't think the Many Faced God would be pleased if she just slaughtered everyone in her path.

What? I looked up Sibel Kekilli and saw nothing about that. She seems like the opposite of a porn star with all of her political activism.
