5FDP Bad Company is cool. My guess is there are not many of us playing Got Your Six on a turntable.

Yes, thank you hudr. Cannot stop listening! Each video is excellent and full of energy. I see this becoming a top contender for favorite channel.

I had to LMAO when I read this! Iron Butterfly, by name and by music, DEFINED the term, "heavy metal."

Playing "In a Gadda da Vida" as heavy metal is using circular logic!

Laugh all you want. Iron Butterfly ain't heavy metal. Organ solos aren't allowed in heavy metal Big Grin

Re-read through the thread and look for a pattern. You'll see vids of actual heavy metal Wink

Y’all are very welcome. It’s amazing and sometimes scary what you can run across when you just let auto play go for several hours. Smile

I'm a big fan of Leo Moracchioli at "Frog Leap Studios".

Eric Calderone at "331Erock" is another good Youtube channel with metal covers of non-metal songs. He's an very talented guitar player.

Anthony Vincent at "Ten Second Songs" is another one to check out. Not always metal, but he performs songs in different styles from their original.

Yes, thanks for sharing. I shared his cover of Madonna's Like a Prayer on Facebook and my dad who is 75 years old said he spent the next three hours watching his covers. I literally laughed out loud.

I’ll admit, I’m an idiot. I always thought Cinnamon Girl was a Type O Negative song, no idea it was a Neil Young song. And after looking up his version, Peter Steele (may he RIP) did a MUCH better job to it.

My contribution, Ghost covering the Eurythmics. Seemed more “metal” than other favorites such as Marilyn Manson’s covers of Personal Jesus, Tainted Love & Sweet Dreams
