I'm weird, I love the movie, IMO the best one by Lynch. I first saw it in summer 1979 at a L.A. art house theater midnight showing, I also have it on Criterion Blu Ray. Kubrick once stated it was his favorite film and reportedly used it as a reference while making The Shining. Another tidbit- Charlotte Stewart who portrayed Mary in the film was in the cast of Little House on The Prairie TV show as Miss Beadle.

It's the only film I've seen that featured a mechanized bovine fetus.

Eraserhead is Lynch's cinematic barometer for viewers who find Blue Velvet too disturbing.

I watched it once just to see what everyone was talking about. Made it through to the end, but have no desire to ever see it again.
