I was surprised that it sat in film cans for five years looking for a distributor

I think he (Jim) said Disney owned it for a while and the director pulled some money together to buy it back from them because they just sat on it.

Disney truly is the worst.

Fox was going to distribute it when they got bought by Disney and they shelved it. They sold the distribution rights to the film to Angel Studios and it's doing gangbusters right now.

We have different faiths. The only praying I'll be doing for those responsible for these crimes is praying their deaths are cruel, painful, and lengthy. This is not forgivable. Going to see the film today with my wife.

Saw it last night. I found it too be a powerful film that evoked strong emotions. At the end of the movie the theater was quieter than any I have been in since Saving Private Ryan.

It was after the film that I got truly pissed off. I wanted to find out why it was shelved for so long. I found that a bunch of liberal media outlets are trying discredit the film and audience by trying to link this to Q-Anon.

Can’t be too surprised though given how incurious the left is about who visited Epstein’s island and supporting the efforts to rebrand pedos as Minor Attracted Persons.

Go see the movie. It is important.

Nothing but good reviews for the film and is actually something that should be concerning for the nation and the world but unfortunately, too many people in power don't want to be offended/caught or offend someone they do business with.

I also agree that Jim is right for praying for all. As hard as it is, it is what God wants for us but it doesn't mean they are to be treated differently or not face their punishment.

This is likely due to Jim's consistent mentioning of Adrenochrome. I, for one, don't doubt that these "harvestings" do occur, but I think it hurts his cause to mention it. Everyone's morbid curiosity is going to gravitate to the most extreme, warped, niche circumstance afforded by the Adrenochrome scenario; distracting from the much larger, much more combatable problem of child trafficking as a whole, IMO.

If not prayer, than perhaps the mental health approach; if it's not a matter of demon interference, than it is a matter of mental defect bolstered by cultural rot. If no root cause is somehow addressed, we're faced with perpetual child abuse, and said prescribed cruel deaths.

Edit: In a subsequent conversation with my wife, she advocated swift, public capitol punishment. I postulated that these people are so driven in their depravity, that it would only be a partial remedy, as this wouldn't serve as deterrent for the more heinous offenders. She reinforced her stance with the notion that removal from the gene pool of any of them is a plus, and would lead to ultimate eradication over time. Fair point.

The irony around the adrenochrome issue is its nothing new.

Hunter S. Thompson wrote about taking it in his epic 1971 book Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

He described it as:

quote:
[HST] "What is it?"
[Samoan Attorney]"Adrenochrome," he said. "You won't need much. Just a little tiny taste."
I got the bottle and dipped the head of a paper match into it.
"That's about right," he said. "That stuff makes pure mescaline seem like ginger beer. You'll go completely crazy if you take too much."
I licked the end of the match. "Where'd you get this?" I asked. "You can't buy it."
"Never mind," he said. "It's absolutely pure."
I shook my head sadly. "Jesus! What kind of monster client have you picked up this time? There's only one source for this stuff . .
He nodded.
"The adrenaline glands from a living human body," I said. "It's no good if you get it out of a corpse."

"I know," he replied. "But the guy didn't have any cash. He's one of these Satanism freaks. He offered me human blood - said it would make me higher than I'd ever been in my life," he laughed. "I thought he was kidding, so I told him I'd just as soon have an ounce or so of pure adrenochrome - or maybe just a fresh adrenalin gland to chew on."
I could already feel the stuff working on me. The first wave felt like a combination of mescaline and methedrmne. Maybe I should take a swim, I thought.
"Yeah," my attorney was saying. "They nailed this guy for child molesting, but he swears he didn't do it. 'Why should I fuck with chi Wren?' he says; 'They're too small!"' He shrugged. "Christ, what could I say? Even a goddamn were wolf is entitled to legal counsel . . . I didn't dare turn the creep down. He might have picked up a letter opener and gone after my pineal gland."
"Why not?" I said. "He could probably get Melvin Belli for that." I nodded, barely able to talk now. My body felt like I'd just been wired
into a 220 volt socket. "Shit, we should get us some of that stuff." I muttered finally. "Just eat a big handful and see what happens."
"Some of what?"
"Extract of pineal."
He stared at me. "Sure," he said. "That's a good idea. One whiff of that shit would turn you into something out of a god damn medical
encyclopedia! Man, your head would swell up like a watermelon, you'd probably gain about a hundred pounds in two hours . . . claws, bleeding
warts, then you'd notice about six huge hairy tits swelling up on your back .. ." He shook his head emphatically. "Man, I'll try just about
anything; but I'd never in hell touch a pineal gland.

So its been known for a very long time that this shit happens.

Indeed. Likely traceable back through the lore of blood libels as well; thousands of years. Hell, Sandra Bullock is a rookie vain psycho, and she openly admits injecting serums made from baby foreskins into her face, to keep that Hollywood glow. Who knows what total psychos get up to, in secret.

Edit: Also, the fact that, in the context of Jim's comments, we're considering Adrenochrome taken from trafficked children, it is potentially a bit different. If consenting adults want to create some sort of weird system of inducing an adrenaline dump to be subsequently harvested and used to "get high" or "stay young", that'd be arguably pretty inconsequential. Hunter Thompson alludes to the harvest from a living human; not specifically a terrified, captive, sex-trafficked child.

Agreed. Public hangings would be a great start.

Is there anything slower, more painful? Because I'd be in favor of that!

I have a FBI agent relative who worked on the child trafficking task force. I asked her about the movie. She has seen it and made the following comment:

"There's definitely a push from certain quarters to discredit the movie. But the movie is an accurate depiction of what happens to the kids."

Distressing to say the least

From a friend that got involved in fighting child trafficking, it's much more common than most think and there are many powerful people involved. The way this movie is being attacked is a good clue as well. We never did see that black book from Epstein. Hopefully more and more of those involved
will be exposed.

DailyWire.com: Sound Of Freedom’ Dominates Box Offices Across The Country

By Katie Jerkovich

Jul 12, 2023 DailyWire.com

“Sound of Freedom” has been dominating box offices across the country in places like Florida and Texas its first weekend out after taking the number one spot across the country on its release day July 4.

The film — which deals with the horrors of human trafficking — has done incredibly well in the middle of the country and the southern portion of the United- States, becoming number one movie over the July 7-9 weekend at multiplexes in Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Phoenix, and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, and Salt Lake City, according to Comscore data.

It ended up beating Disney’s highly-anticipated Harrison Ford sequel “Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny” along with “Insidious: Red Door” its opening weekend in these places, the outlet noted.

The Jim Caviezel-lead film has earned — over its 8 days run — a total of more than $45 million at the domestic box office, according to Box Office Mojo. It also earned a coveted A+ CinemaScore, which generally guarantees strong word of mouth, THR noted.

“Sound of Freedom” comes from AngelStudios movie — the same company responsible for the popular faith-based television series, “The Chosen.”

Angel Studios CEO Neal Harmon said in a statement that their movie has taken on a “life of its own.”

quote:
“We're getting messages from all over the country telling us about packed theaters, sold-out theaters, and spontaneous standing ovations for the film in numerous locations. Seeing this film has become a must thanks to incredible word-of-mouth…”

https://t.co/QNlUcFYiZn

— Sound of Freedom | Movie (@SOFMovie2023) July 11, 2023

“This movie has now taken on a life of its own to become something more than that, a grassroots movement,” Harmon said. “The world needs to see ‘Sound of Freedom’ and we know that our biggest competitive advantage — our incredible fans and investors — are going to make sure that happens.”

Following the film’s success over the weekend, the “Passion of the Christ” star shared a video with followers thanking them for “not letting the media silence” this movie.

“I’ve always said do you want to be liked by many, the world, Hollywood, or do you want to be loved by one, which is God,” Caviezel said in the clip. “Because love don’t come from man it comes from above.”

“So, I’m sitting here thinking about all you amazing Americans that are fighting the battle and helping us in this war against the greatest evil that has ever been,” he added. “Because you know that God’s children are not for sale.”

In the movie, Caviezel portrays Tim Ballard in the true story of a federal agent who quits his job and embarks on a dangerous mission to rescue a young girl from sex slavery in South America.

Not bad for a $14.5M production.

What's even better is Angel Studios is only on the hook for $5 million has that was what it cost to buy it from Disney/Fox. As of today, they're at $53.9 million in 9 days of release without an international opening.
