My cousin sent this pic of a #14.25 caught day 1, hour 1 of a tournament.

Yeah, but I almost caught one about twice as big. Fought him for six hours. Wouldn’t you know, he broke the line JUST AS I was getting him the boat. You should have seen it. World record FOR SURE!

Well, that's small compared to the one I lost.

OP, looks like a fish fry is on the menu.

I wish he wasn't long arming it. Awesome fish but it's really hard to get a perspective of it because of him intentionally trying to make it look even bigger than it is.

Yeah, it'd still be an impressive fish without resorting to camera tricks.

If it was caught in a tournament it will be released back into the water. That, and large bass like that are not good eating. The only bass I kept and ate were 2 lbs or less.

That is a whopper. It is about three times as big as the biggest I have ever caught.

The fish is mute, expressionless. The fish doesn't think because the fish knows everything.

Beautiful fish. Few largemouth bass that heavy have ever been caught in Texas. The 50th largest on record was 15.45 lbs, so that may well be a top 100 fish.
