I remember watching on TV Secretariat's complete and utter annihilation of the field in the Belmont. 31 lengths. That was one monster of a performance. I sort of get why Secretariat is considered one of the greatest athletes period after seeing the manner he obliterated what were supposed to be some of the best horses on the planet at that time. He is still considered the most perfect race horse ever.

The race I remember was the 31 length win at the Belmont Stakes.
