Watching the Jesse Stone series on the Hallmark Channel, and the way this was filmed appears differently than the way the Hallmark movies shown in the advertising of Hallmark presentations. I notice that all of the Hallmark presentations appear different, film versus video or ??? , than other shows on Hallmark?

I do not believe I have ever watched anything on that channel but do know that, based on hearing first hand accounts from freelance guys I hire for my projects, that they are notoriously cheap and as such they run with smaller crews and probably not the latest and greatest in tech.

If I’m not mistaken, the “Jesse Stone” movies were not Hallmark originated, but were regular commercial TV productions. Hallmark bought the movies for its channels.
