No, not the Clint Eastwood movie.

Premiered on NBC on Monday (Sept 21) @ 10pm (ET). For those who miss “Blue Bloods” (not the semi-sequel “Boston Blue”), this is the DYSFUNCTIONAL version of the Reagan Family.

Dad is a senior Secret Service Agent with supposedly 1 week from retirement.

Mom is senior US Marshal, but has separated from Dad and has new boyfriend who may/may not be moving into the family homestead; Dad not happy camper about that.

Daughter is FBI, headstrong and bulldog with a bone tenacious on a case.

Son #2 is newly assigned to DOJ upper echelon who may have been assisted into the job by Dad, who wants a favor from son on an old assassination attempt case.

Son #3 is Secret Service Agent assigned to protective detail of Presidential daughter, and who is a “physical relationship” with her !!!!

Son #1, from Dad’s first marriage, may/may not be still alive. Had been in Afghanistan and came back with PTSD. May have committed suicide (vague references) and family trying to keep hush-hush on it.

Opening story is drug cartel accountant being tracked by a U.S. Marshal. Accountant and Marshal killed by professional hit man.

Mom calls Daughter to help investigate case (outside agency eyes on case). Daughter sees it as setup and digs deeper into case and discovers “interesting facts” of accountant and dead marshal.

Meanwhile, Daughter involved with a boyfriend who she hasn’t introduced to family in order to keep him out of internal family dynamics. Goes to a chaotic family “Sunday dinner”, conversations tense, and gets up from table and leaves.

Last scene, Boyfriend goes back to family house to apologize to Dad, Mom, kids, but no one home, and front door not locked (NOT GOOD SIGN !). Enters house and goes into family room, sees a family picture that has been folded over to hide someone. Takes photo from frame and unfolds it to see picture of Son #1, who happens to be his next door neighbor. Son #1 standing behind Boyfriend says both he (Son #1) and Boyfriend aren’t who they seem to be, and then stabs Boyfriend (professional hit style).

Someone keeps leaving origami items at original crime scene, in family house. Both Mom and Dad have seen them and pocket them to keep out of evidence. Seems that Son #1 made origami items.

Preview scenes of coming shows has family thinking Son #1 not dead and maybe is professional assassin or something else.

As I said, they are the DYSFUNCTIONAL Reagan Family.

I've watched the first two episodes. I put it on to record for the future. It did remind me of Blue Bloods
