Which one do you like better? I think Flight of the Navigator is WAY better than E.T. Always have enjoyed E.T. but my brother and I wore out two Flight of the Navigator VHS tapes. My boys enjoy both as well but also prefer Flight of the Navigator. ———————————————— The world's not perfect, but it's not that bad. If we got each other, and that's all we have. Can't choose. E.T. is a better made film with fantastic cinematography. Flight is hipper and faster, but chintzier. I'd probably choose Flight because it fits my aesthetics more, and I've always dug Paul Reubens and Sarah J. Parker. At least you left The Last Starfighter out of the mix. | |||

ET was undeniably the better film in most measurable senses (box office, cultural impact), but Flight was actually pretty good, too. I saw each of them once - ET in the theater and Flight on Netflix (or wherever it was streaming) last year. I mean, when I was a kid I saw Battle Beyond the Stars like (literally) over a hundred times because it was on on available (and I guess you can try to beat my watch it record too if you have Amazon Prime). I didn't for a second think that it was better than Empire Strikes Back.
