Quality. Joe does a Les Paul right. Beth has pipes. I like what they did at Beacon Theatre. Too bad she only sang on two numbers there.

When work becomes a challenge -- like right now -- I seem to come back to hard rock. I like clean vocals, so I guess I'm not a true metal head. A fair amount of streaming the Octane channel on Sirius XM. I've listened to Five Finger Death Punch for awhile, and appreciate Ivan Moody's lead vocal talents. Great guitar, solid drums.

Recently I've listened more to The Pretty Reckless. Taylor Momsen really does have vocal skills. "25" is an amazing song, showing her low register capabilities. Both the official "25" video and the unplugged version are awesome. I have no idea how she can distort the word "glass" late in the song without ripping apart her vocal cords.

I'm pretty much into old school metal. But around this time of year I listen to the album of the same name as the title track to this...

These go to eleven.

For the Christmas season at lot of Trans Siberian Orchestra (saw them for the first time in person a week ago and they were fantastic).

Over the last few months I’ve been listing to a lot of Pink Floyd - specifically the Pulse tour from the ‘90s which are also available on YouTube. Pink Floyd - Pulse Concert

Also discovered a lot of great YouTube concerts with Hans Zimmer. His (group’s) performance at the 2017 Coachella is very entertaining - especially the Dark Knight which begins at ~0:48 minutes: Hans Zimmer - 2017 Coachellla

Not listening right now (watching TV and surfing the web), but when I do it will be "The Christmas Album" featuring Virgil Fox on the pipe organ. A truly inspiring album. "The Virgin's Slumber Song" (Max Reger) with Louise Natale soprano is stunning in its beauty.

Last year, I dug out the amp for my vintage MCS stereo. I had put it into storage when the audio output died over 20 years ago. I located a guy who specializes in restoration of high end vintage audio equipment. After patiently waiting about 13 months, he called and said it was ready. When i picked it up, the guy who specializes in Macitosh and other great equipment told me that he "was impressed with how well it played. I purchased this system new back in 1981 as a poor fairly poor married guy in his 20's. It's all original including the speakers and still sounds amazing.

So to answer the question, vintage LP's including Andy Williams and Perry Como Christmas music, Boston and Led Zeppelin.

Five Finger Death Punch.

The song ‘A Little Bit Off’ was a good theme song for last year. Picked up their F8 album and I’m hooked.
