Just got home from the first showing at our local theater. Dennis Quaid knocked its out of the park. The move, just over 2 hours, brought back lots of memories. He was truly one of the best. Staring back from the abyss |
I'll watch it, but, to be honest, I'm not expecting much. While I like Dennis Quaid as a person and as an actor, I have a hard time expecting that he'll be able to pull off Reagan well enough. He just has that quirky mouth movement thing going on that just isn't Reaganesque. Also, the clip that I saw of his Berlin speech wasn't even close to Reagan, which I watched on a 13" black and white Zenith in the day room of the barracks, thinking, "uh oh". We'll see... ________________________________________________________ "Great danger lies in the notion that we can reason with evil." Doug Patton. | |||
