For me it's Roger Moore. _________________________ NRA Endowment Member _________________________ "Of all tyrannies, a tyranny exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It may be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end, for they do so with the approval of their own conscience." -- C.S. Moore as The Saint worked. Not as Bond. Harshest Dream, Reality

Let's just say that Live and Let Die didn't age as well as Jane Seymour. A beautiful and elegant lady who in her prime was... intoxicating.

but it is the only Moore bond film that is tolerable, https://chandlersfirearms.com/chesterfield-armament/

I really don't mind Moore's Bond but I hated the Dalton version. I pretend they don't exist. My Ranking: Craig Connery Brosnan Moore Lazenby Dalton No one's life, liberty or property is safe while the legislature is in session.- Mark Twain

Once Craig took the stage with Casino Royal, all that came before were diminished. Most decimated. Some early Connery stuff still has some charm to me. But honestly, Moore, Brosnan, Dalton... Somewhere between Meh and Blech!

You are right on that- I just realized that Octopussy is the only Bond movie that I never saw in a cinema. Meh.

I used to find all the James Bond movies unwatchable. Now I can enjoy the Connery ones for their campiness. _____________________________________________________ Sliced bread, the greatest thing since the 1911.

Connery IS Bond for me. Brosnan is the only other acceptable Bond.

The answer I have closest to your question's premise is Pierce Brosnan, but "unwatchable" is a bit strong. I just find him tepid.

Dalton and Lazenby are the only two whose movies I haven't seen. Out of the others, I guess I'll pick Moore. Why so much hate for Timothy Dalton? He was the more serious, grittier Bond before Daniel Craig. I think Dalton made a good Bond but got bad scripts (for all two of his films).

Oh stewardess, I speak jive. |
Anything with Moore being tough. "Stop, or I'll be so polite and proper I'll annoy you to death." About as convincing as Rowan Atkinson kicking someone's ass.

didn t like Moore. Didn't like the Brosnan movies, he was OK as Bond, but the stories just sucked I thought Dalton was a good Bond Don't weep for the stupid, or you will be crying all day

Moonraker still rules because it has a laser gun battle in space, so there's that.
