I love Casablanca. Great movie. And Ingrid is easy on the eyes. Her character is a little weak but she’s beautiful. Some great lines in the movie. And of course, “the” song.

I watched The Big Sleep next. Lauren was a little exotic looking when she was younger. And exuded sultry confidence back then as well. But the story and all the various characters confused the heck out of me and I couldn’t follow.


Maltese Falcon is next.

The original book The Big Sleep is based on dealt with porn, sex, drug use and homosexuality. All taboo subjects for the era in Hollywood. Thats why the plot is confusing, as they had to tiptoe around all the bad stuff to make the movie.

The Falcon is just plain fun.....
