What is your favorite character in the original Yellowstone series? Not the sequels or prequels. And why? The original was well written and had some memorable characters. ________________ People hate you. Train like it.

Boo Boo. Oh, wait, not Jellystone? Too original. Sorry. -------------------------- Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats. -- H L Mencken I always prefer reality when I can figure out what it is. -- JALLEN 10/18/18

I liked Mo…he just portrayed a quiet understanding of the people in his orbit. I am a fan of ‘speak softly and carry a big stick’ kind of characters…Mo fits there.

I met him last summer at the rodeo. He's a great guy and easy to talk to. Later, after the rodeo he hung out by the cowboy's ready room where he signed autographs and posed for pictures for about as long as people wanted. I hope he comes back again this year. _______________________________________________________ despite them

In a show with several strong characters all well cast and well played, my favorite is John Dutton. His mission is to preserve the heritage of the Yellowstone. He forsakes all else to try an achieve that mission. He is ruthless but forthright, a man of convictions. His moral compass is slightly warped but tends towards the right direction. Take the scene where John and Rip are about to enter the cafe. They realize that something is wrong and set about to fix it. He doesn't hesitate to engage and knows that Rip has his back. The scene ends with Sheriff mortally wounded. The Sheriff calls his daughter and dies while trying to talk with her, John takes the phone and speaks with the daughter. John, in his own way, shows a level of sensitivity that we don't often see but underlies his character. Costner brought a level of gruffness and gravitas to the role along with a certain weariness about the rest of the world. In a show with many great characters, he was my favorite. Let me help you out. Which way did you come in?

I liked Kayce until he did not get rid of the Glock 19 that had a body on it and as a former Seal he should know to find a way to explain or ditch that weapon. A new barrel? A different extractor? Easy fixes, but this "operator" missed them?

Rip - loyal to and counted on by John. When something needed to be taken care of he handled it. If he was looking to kick some ass you didn't want to be on the receiving end. Donald Trump is not a politician, he is a leader, politicians are a dime a dozen, leaders are priceless.
