My older son once went on a trip to Russia about 1991 with other American students. The group got on a bus and the tour guide announced they were going on “A three-hour tour.” Immediately all the Americans started singing….

Oh, and Mrs. Peel for sure.

Mary Ann, Ginger, Jeannie (Barbara Eden), Batgirl (Yvonne Craig), or Mrs Peel (Diana Rigg)?

For the youngsters who don't know these beautiful ladies, use some Google-Fu.

you left out the 3 sisters from Petticoat Junction and Ellie MAy

Diana Rigg, for sure! I even watched her years later when she hosted a BBC/PBS mystery series, don't remember the name, but even with a few years on her, she was still HOTT.

Bonus trivia question, who knows the words to the closing theme for WKRP?

Mystery!

Sorry, but I thought John Steed was cooler than James Bond......but Patrick McGoohan Danger Man and aka #6 was the coolest.....Until I saw Steve McQueen/Bullitt where my lifelong love for classic Mustangs and Colt revolvers began.

That show did nothing to help my recurring nightmare of being run over by the world's largest Ziplock Baggie filled with milk.

Thanks for reminding me of Diana Rigg's show "Mystery!". As to Steve McQueen, I totally agree! BITD a friend had a 1968 Dodge Charger that was a near-twin to the bad-guys' car in Bullitt, but with a 440 Magnum Police Interceptor motor. I've told the story here before about driving it, and people don't believe me when I tell how fast it was.

You guys do realize that each character represents one of the 7 deadly sins...

pride -- The Professor
greed -- Mr. Howell
wrath -- Skipper
envy -- Mary Anne
lust -- Ginger
gluttony -- Mrs. Howell
sloth -- Gilligan

Yup, pretty clever.
