thin skin can't win

| Alright, on the recommendation of one of our owners and sustained by the reviews here, we'll keep watching beyond episode 2. Something about it just feels too unrealistic and disjointed, other than the need to be nekkid at least once per episode, for a sustainable series. It's almost amateur-ish in the production feel to me. But I'm no expert. Continue on, we will.

| Just finished watching season 1, binged the last three episodes. Pretty good. I was late to plugging into this series, even though I’m a diehard LeCarre fan. I’ll go on to season 2 in the near term. Fun Easter Egg, LeCarre was the diner Hiddleston assuaged after Corky had his meltdown in a restaurant…..

Fighting the good fight

Sadly, same here. I'm a huge fan of the first season. I've seen it three or four times now, and it's fantastic, even with repeat viewing. Unfortunately, the second season has yet to grab me. I'm a little over 3 episodes in, and something's just off. It doesn't have the same pull as Season 1. I don't hate it, but it's a far cry from the first season. Even the "twists" are easily anticipated. It's been a slog getting this far, but I'm going to finish the season. I'm just disappointed. Perhaps it will get better, but it doesn't sound like that's the case. Prior to Season 2, I would have said The Night Manager was one of my Top 10 favorite TV shows of all time. Now, not so much. Maybe I'll just pretend that it has only one season, like I do with True Detective. |

That's not the case here. What is now "Season 1" was made as a self-contained standalone miniseries back in the mid-2010s. ~10 years later, when it was decided to make more, both Season 2 and Season 3 were greenlit at the same time. They designed a story arc that would continue on from the existing Season 1, and carry over from Season 2 to Season 3, to be wrapped up at the end of Season 3. So no uncertainty there. |

A man's got to know his limitations

| I am not seeing anything about season 3 on Prime.
