I've watched this film several times. Very moving.

I show this film to my students every other year. I alternate between it and Gettysburg.

I imagine I’ve said this before, but when I was the District Ranger at Blackrock on the Bridger-Teton, I spoke on the phone a couple of times with Chance’s mother. My district included the west side of Togwotee Pass, a snowmobiling Mecca. She was working on a fundraising snowmobile event in Chance’s honor. This movie is gut wrenching for me.
