I have a barn find. A rare bike of which only 643 were made.
I found 066.

A guy bought it, rode it for 1400 miles and parked it for 9 years.

I just got it fully restored and operating. Changed out everything, belts, fluids, battery, plugs, you name it.

1198s Corse
All the bells.
Dynos at 187 hp and 99 ft-lbs of torque.
Shes a beast and really pulls out of the corners...

If tire technology has advanced to handling 280HP GP machines on full race courses why can't we have Superbikes for the Daytona 200 like we used to?

They say it’s unsafe and too fast. You have to think about run off. All the GP tracks have huge runoff areas with gravel and air fencing. You do not have that at Daytona. Bike failure at Daytona easily could be death. The literbike race bikes arrived 200HP now to the rear wheel.

Very nice. I got one of my bikes inspected last week. My closest bike shop is a small Ducati dealer. Sat on the Pan V4S. $27,500 + tax. Nope.

That’s a sweet machine. Don’t be surprised if the US bans travelers from Italy. A lot of the teams are based there so if so they will cancel Austin but hopefully they will reschedule.

Austin just declared a “local state of disaster” and banned all events with crowds of 2500 or larger.

What a shit season this is turning out to be. And I had such high hopes.

That is true. Thanks to the new NBC contract with MotoGP I’ll be able to watch Moto2 race for free in less than an hour.

mutedblade, you were right. That was a hell of a race. Joe recovered from that poor start nicely and put on a hell of a show. I won’t spoil it but I was on the edge of my seat quite a bit towards the end. Moto2 is so much fun to watch!!!!!

My first Moto2 race. Lot of good hard racing, good fun to watch.
Pretty big gain for the winner.

Looking forward to watching more.

The MotoGP season may very well start in Jerez.

Sepang CEO said they can race there within 2 weeks notice.

Northern Italy, where many riders live, the virus is going viral.

Gonna be a crap shoot.

We should know about Austin officially tomorrow but I think it’s safe to say it’s not going to happen. At the very least Austin will get rescheduled. Rumors of trying to race at Indy later in the season are now going around.

This is not at all how I was expecting the 2020 season to start. Thanks China Mad

I’m seeing lots of people saying COTA has been pushed to November but can’t find an official statement from MotoGP yet. Mad Mad

Italy locking down certainly didn’t help. This sucks

They won’t race at Indy. Michelin would throw a fit. That circuit has not been in use since the Bridgestone to Michelin spec tire switch. They would reschedule Austin or would not come here.

I’d love it if they came up with a plan to race the premier class at Laguna.
