Agree 100% on this one

Also, I really love watching the old Clint Eastwood Westerns - Pale Rider, Hang ‘em High, Outlaw Josey Wales, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

I did say “TV”

I agree wholeheartedly, but my #2 would have to be Tommy Lee Jones as Woodrow Call in the same series.

Thanks for the reminder. We've been watching favorite TV series at dinnertime, and I'll put Lonesome Dove next in the queue.

John Laroquete on Night Court, Harry and Marki Post, Selma and Bull I loved too.

Bob Newhart cracks me up in anything he does but running that Bed and Breakfast was terrific, another memorable cast Stephanie, 3 Darryls, George the handyman. Been a long time since I've seen it and I don't remember series title, tip of my tongue but not gonna Google. I Googled - just named Newhart. The best last series ending I've ever seen.

Red Foxx - Sanford and Son

Nathan Fillion - Malcom Reynolds - Firefly
Richard Dean Anderson - Colonel Jack O'Neill - Stargate SG-1.
Jon Hamm - Don Draper - Mad Men
Tricia Helfer - Six - Battlestar Galactica

Bonus round:
Christina Hendricks in whatever role, but stellar in both Firefly and Madmen. Just... damn.

Agree 100% on this one

I know the forum loves this guy, but for me, he just doesn't sell the badass roles he's been cast in. Loved him in Deadwood, but there also, he didn't really seem to sell the role of a tough sheriff. I dunno. Tried watching Justified and could only make it a couple episodes.
