Agree 100% on this one

Also, I really love watching the old Clint Eastwood Westerns - Pale Rider, Hang ‘em High, Outlaw Josey Wales, and The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

I did say “TV”

Sorry TMats. I missed this clearly identified criteria. I deleted my original post. Sorry.

There are so many and most have been mentioned here that said I have to add….

George Peppard - John “Hannibal” Smith
Dwight Schultz - Howling Mad Murdock

I just always picture those characters no matter what I see these actors in.

Ted Danson - Sam Malone also comes right to mind as well as Kelsey Grammar as Frasier.

I'm late to this thread with 99% of my choices already cited. But I don't think I saw any of these mentioned. And I cite but one of their better roles among many choices.

--Ingrid Bergman - Ilsa Lund in Casablanca
--Helen Mirran - Victoria in Red
--Anthony Hopkins - Hannibal Lecter
--Judi Dench - M in Bond flicks
--Christopher Walken as Nick Chevotarevich in The Deerhunter
--Grace Kelly - Frances Stevens in To Catch a Thief
--Michael Caine As Harry Palmer in The Ipcress File
--Ian McKellen as Gandalf in The Lord of the Rings

This is much more difficult than I thought it would be.

On a positive note, looks like another thread is in the offing.

I would add Walter Goggins for Justified. Boyd Crowder was as much a star of the series as Raylan.

Little known fact, except to fans of the show, like me, they had him drive a Buick police car because he was too fat to fit in the regular squad cars that everybody else used! Big Grin
