new to the fourm but have followed the loung & m h rifel for maney years i am not comp. savy & a real bad speller so please overlook . a champfer on a long gun, ar15 as well as others is a certin degre, is that bassed on caliber,length of barell or barell metal? and would that change if one added a musel divice such as flash hider.comp or superssor. i used this fourm & other to chuse a sig 556 in 2012. thank you. ps i got a good one!!!

Adding a muzzle device doesn't affect the chamber, because the chamber is the space at the rear of the barrel (the other end from the muzzle) where the cartridge is contained while the bullet is fired, or waiting to be fired.



Hence why loading a round into the barrel is called "chambering" a round... It's being inserted into the chamber.

I think he is referring to the muzzle chamfer. Crown, in your diagram.

i dont know how to turn off a vpn even though its been explaned to me before, my location is salem ohio about 20 miles from youngstown ,boardman ohio . para if you need more on location let me know

Most muzzle devices butt against the shoulder of the barrel and don’t actually touch the crown.

Claims to be "not computer savvy", yet is savvy enough to be using a VPN... which is fairly advanced.

You have two days. If I don't see a post from you without a VPN connection, I'm going to remove you from this forum.

You would have us believe you don't know how to use a spell checker or how to find out the correct spelling of words, even though this is easily done online. You would have us believe you know how to connect to a VPN but not how to disconnect it.

Two days, and then your trolling is finished.

i think i was able to turn off vpn by just useing ,clicking on it in the broswer, which is opra.this was real easy, years agao it seemes i had to go into compter setings. i also have internet explore browser & can use it when opra dosent work.i then can restart computer & opra workes again. i am a life member of the salem hunting club salem ohio,& member of salem eagles. hope i did this ok & if you need more please advise. thanks para

i was able to change country to america when clicking on vpn. so i learned something today which is always good. when i post again should i turen off vpn thank you.

to rogue jsk the vpn came up when opra,my browser, updated, so i clicked on the vpn & was able to turn it off this was very easy to do

the reason i asked about the crown champfer i know it can make a difference by the digree or angle but i have never heard a discution if adding a musel divice can affect it ,or not. thanks
