What a blast!
Way faster paced than the regular USPSA matches I'm used to. I'm shooting a bone stock 5" M&P.

Hey, that looks (and sounds!) like fun!

A local range was recently offering a Steel Challenge beginner’s clinic that I sadly wound up having to miss - I’ve been encouraged to just show-up regardless and watch / learn / dive-in at any of their regular matches.

Nice shooting, that was fast and accurate! I've shot a little bit of steel challenge at a local informal club match, and that was a lot of fun, but this looks far more dynamic. I like it!

Sweet! Dynamic steel is fun!

If it’s in the budget, check out the Berrys Steel Open in St. George, UT. It’s two days and about 600 rounds of all steel. Varies from static steel like you find in Steel Challenge events, to Par Time and Scramble stages that are more like a USPSA match. Swingers, no shoot steels, targets up to 25yrds. It runs very smoothly and is a lot of fun!

A video from this years match, not me.

Steel matches are a lot of fun.
The best part is instant gratification when you can hear your hits on target , oh and by the way no pasting.
Have not shot steel at our club in a while, hopefully I can get back to it some day. It was so much fun.

For me the best choice is Glock 45.

The compact crossover pistol G45 in 9x19mm combines a compact slide with a full size frame and has all the benefits of a Gen5 model. Utilizing the design and engineering GLOCK developed for its military pistol (G19X), combined with Operator and worldwide Law Enforcement specifications.

Nice.
I like to see shoot & move so much more than pictures of a B27 target from a bay.

Nice shooting Ryan!

And now for a complete and totally unrelated Thread Drift:

I checked out your 'RocknRolla' YouTube channel and noticed the first video you have posted is 'Whiplash playing Master of Puppets'. I just smiled and was like wow, that's a blast from the past...Those guys played in my basement back in North Jersey in mid the 80's! Cool

Seriously, back when they were originally a band of three Tonys; Tony Portaro, Tony Scaglione and Tony Bono, they came up from Passaic to a couple of HUGE parties we had when my parents were away in Hawaii. We had a drum riser in the basement, a big PA, lived at the end of the road on a cul-de-sac, and had MANY memorable parties there featuring live Thrash Metal Bands! My brother's band, 'Deathrash' was also a three piece band at the time and they knew those guys from playing out in Passaic at Dingbatz and in NYC at CBGB's, as well as at venues in Brooklyn & Queens. I'm not 100% sure if it was before or after Tony Scaglione left the band to tour with Slayer (that dude was completely INSANE on the Drums!), but Whiplash even asked my brother to join the band to do vocals prior to Glen Hansen joining them back in '89.

So what's your connection to Whiplash? Or are these two different cases of Whiplash? Wink

ETA - Nevermind...I just watched more of the video, and my Whiplash is not the same your Whiplash! Razz
