By that you mean some type of finish, maybe not a true blueing job my guess. Old style rust bluing is beautiful, but nowhere near as durable as modern surface passivation treatments or VPD type finishes these days. At least not compared to an original east german Makarov, which has a true blued finish, and very nicely done. I know what you may mean however, since the old Colt Royal Blue job in the old pythons was one of the best there ever was.
