No. I stay prepared. I don’t think the chance of being broken into has really increased lately. Even if it has I have just always planned my home defense setup around the worst case scenario.

I just replaced my Sig P250 compact 9 night stand gun with a new (to me) red box Sig P229 in 40 cal. I love the 250 but I like the old all metal DA/SA guns better. The 250 will just go to another room in the house. BTW CDNN has a really good price on the Sig red box guns right now. My 229 was $450 including shipping and signature. Comes with two mags and looks like a brand new gun.

Same P320 X-Carry but added a AR leaning against the night stand with my plate carrier and a full load next to the bed.
I will be swift in my attack. My venom is packed with enough pride and gun powder to take down any adversary that attempts to tread on my freedom. You've been warned, but if you still want to test me, take a step forward.

I haven’t done anything different recently but a couple of months ago I pulled my G45 out of the safe and replaced it with a 19X.
My goal is to send the 45 off to be milled and then it’ll go back in the safe. Two milled 45s, one for dedicated nightstand duty and one for the range to practice with, and keep the 19X irons.
I also took my SBR’ed 300 out of its nightstand safe to test for function a week ago.
No, our almost 5 year old German Shepherd monitors everything. Yes her bark may be worse than any bite, but I’m sure not sleeping through any surprises.

I did...I switched from my P320 Compact to my P320 X-Compact. I seem to shoot the X much better. Of course there is a Mossberg 590 close by as well.

No changes. I always have either a P99, 92FS or P226 loaded up nearby, in addition to whatever smaller gun I was carrying that day. I haven't felt the need to do anything different.
I keep a 10.5 inch AR hanging behind the door, but I also have a 10.5 inch 9mm AK-V within arms reach. And they would have to get past the cameras that watch the doors and the dogs inside to get to me.
