Seems 90% of the posts are on the world events in the lounge, which is not unexpected.

But my LGS started closing at 7pm vs 9pm in the Covid times, since then it appears they decided the sales between 7-9pm prior were not sufficiently impacting the bottom line ie, payroll, overtime, they also removed the used guns out of the cabinet and into the back room at their main location, they are all on GunBroker. Smart for them doing that I'm sure they sell way more for full price that way, but, it was a good reason to ride over and check out the trade ins looking for a deal... No More.

Now I rarely get up to the store as by 7pm my day is finishing up, and I'm not going out in the middle of the day to go gun shopping.

Last purchase was a KelTec Sub2000 on sale with rebate as the new Sub2000 was on the horizon.

Other than the Springfield Kuna or perhaps a bullpup shotgun, nothing's calling my CC to come out of the wallet

What about you, are you still actively adding guns, is there something kool out there you're waiting on, old or new, or have you done similar and just not in the buying game anymore.

I think my last acquisition might've been a Q karma.

Before that, picked up a tip-bbl Taurus 22lr from my brother-in-law.
He's got a G19 I've been thinking about taking off his hands, otherwise probably a RXM or a Kuna next on the list for me.

It comes and goes in spells.

For example, I didn't buy any new guns from mid-2020 through mid-2025, because I had other plans for my disposable income.

Big trips. House projects. Newer car. Etc.

But in the past year I've purchased 3 new guns, including a POF Revolution, Ruger RXM, and P365 XMacro.

However, I don't plan to add any more for a while again.

My local sporting goods store is closing. Today is the last day of operation.
The remaining store stock is going to auction and the land/building is for sale on the real estate websites.
The store owners are ready for retirement.
I will miss the "local" connection and the used handgun & rifle racks.

I haven't even investigated where the next nearest gun store is located.
I suppose I should figure that out, at least for being able to do FFL transfers.

There is a Bass Pro store just over an hour away, but buying guns there is a headache inducing process due to the way they sell guns.
I've been spending money on our planned move from the house up to the cabin.
Drilling/pounding water wells is expensive!
Cemetery plots & headstones are also.

Last one I bought was the Rugar carbon 10/22. It had all the upgrades I wanted already done. Added a scope and bipod to complete it. So much fun to plink.

Bought my Legion a few weeks ago.

Prior to that, it had been a few years

I picked up a new shotgun last month as a result of a couple of HD shotgun threads here. Otherwise, I'm getting older and don't use a lot of my guns anymore so I'm actually starting to sell them off.

I've bought two this year, but both were completely unplanned. Last year, I bought just one.

However, I've generally been in sell mode, and the number of guns I've sold in the past few years far outweighs the number of guns I've bought in that time.

It had been two years for me since last purchase; but in the past month have gotten one cartridge and one percussion cap and ball revolver. Just about have all of them that were on my list.

ETA: Oops! I forgot all about scooping up a S&W 6906 in June '25. It had been a year, not two.

I guess I'm the opposite as I just purchased a used Gen 4 Glock 26 off the auction site and picked it up Wednesday at my local dealer.

I went 2 years without buying any cartridge guns, not counting 2 cap & ball revolvers. Then last week I bought 2 hand guns, a S&W MP40F and a Sig Sauer Pro SP2022, both in 40S&W with extra .357SIG barrels.

I have bought eleven this year - mainly Sig hammer fired elites. But I have sold 37 during the same time.

In the last year? Let's see...

In Sep 2025 I purchased a Ruger/Lipsey's SP-101 3" .327 Fed Mag short-shroud stainless, and a few weeks ago I purchased a G19 Gen 6 COA. Prior to the last year, I purchased a Beretta APX A1 Tactical in Dec 2024.

I've had to slow down as I recently retired and I'm pretty much out of storage space in the gun safe. (A good problem to have) Wink

Thought it would be kinda cool to get one of each caliber of the P220, P226, and P228.

Found a pocket .22, but other than that it has been mostly parts.

Bought a “gun” recently for fifty dollars, a P365 FCU, just to complete what I had laying around, the upper and the grip module.

That's a hell of a deal on a FCU! I paid $170 for my recent one, and still though I came out well ahead, compared to their usual prices of $300+.

My most recent was a 365xl and it was several years ago.
I'm not a collector and have more than enough of inventory that are sitting in my safe for a rainy day.
The XL is close enough to a perfect carry gun for me that I haven't been tempted by anything else.

My latest acquisitions...https://sigforum.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/430601935/m/9900071125/p/2

I also have a 2004 Pietta 1858 New Model Army waiting for me @ my LGS that I picked up for only $75. I'm waiting for something else to come along to pick up with it, since the communists in NY require a fee for all background checks. I have my eye on a P220 Legion in 10mm that I'm planning on buying in the fall...unless something else comes along first.

I could say I haven’t bought one in a good long while.

But my “recreation” account in Quicken would hurriedly call me a liar. Cool
