Did the same, but it wasn't a very deep hole. I bought a USP in .45 but sold it, then the newer HK .45, but also sold that. I don't have any HKs in the safe, but I do occasionally ruminate over the 30L, maybe even with a comp.

I have a love/hate, very ambiguous, relationship with polymer-framed guns, whether hammer-fired or striker-fired.

The HK bug started nibbling at me, but I keep going back to my metal SIGs. I've had a bunch of USPs, a few P7s, a full auto MP5 clone, a CC9 and a P2000. I still have a stainless USPc in .40 because it's just such a cool gun. But for less money my P229C SAS totally smokes it and it isn't even close. I have a VP9CC on my wishlist with a few distributors so I can A/B it with my CC9. I love my P2000. USPc looks cooler, but the P2000 shoots better. Both have GG flat triggers and SRT kits.

Yup I have quite a few HKs thanks to a friend of mine, now deceased, he put onto the HK P 2000 - what a great edc that turned out to be. So now I have all kinds of HKs. Love the 40 cal HK USP FS - it tamed the 40 and gives very little recoil. Built like a tank. When I was in a store a guy told me not to pick up the P 30 - I did and it came home with me. So did the P 30 sk and on and on.

What's this one? And the one to the immediate left?
