One thought, you should be able to take the guns to the FFL in another state. If it is a handgun you would not be able to pick the handgun up should they fail to sell. The pistol would have to be sent to a dealer in your state of residence and you would have to do the 4473 form , background check etc. Should the law change and the long guns become prohibited in VA, the dealer could not return them to you as the sale must be legal in both states | |||
