My other 2 9mm pistols (KelTec P11 & Ruger LC9) are loaded with 115gr Hornady Critical Defense. The sharper taper on the bullet feeds much more reliably in the P11 than wider-mouthed rounds like Federal Hydrashoks, which would occasionally hang on the feed ramp.
I don't recall what I used to keep in the 320 when it was originally a 9mm.
Got good responses on my similar rifle thread for .223/5.56 options, hoping for more of the same here.
I load Federal HST 124 grain in my 9mm pistols. But reliability is the key. Any major manufacturer's SD rounds should be fine as long as they reliably function in your pistol.
If you like Hornady, the Critical Duty rounds might be a better choice because those are designed for service-sized pistols like the 320.

I am heavily invested in Ranger 147. I keep a couple of cases of Federal BPLE tucked away. They are old tech but have a good track record and will feed in just about everything.
I honestly don't get too hung up on this stuff and I am happy with any reasonable defensive round in common use (I'm not going to use RIP or DMFR5000 or IKEEELU+P or some such) but honestly beyond that I figure as long as can get shots on target I am good and I worry less about the specific bullet. (I am not using FMJ of course)

I did some backyard ballistic testing on tshirts and water jugs. It’s almost completely unscientific, and was with .40, but I had failures to expand on the Hornady and HST. Gold Dots took the day. I only carry Gold Dots. In 9mm, they’re 124gr, in .40 they’re 165gr.

Home defense- Speer Gold Dot 124 grain +P and I don't think I'll ever move away from this choice. I've been using it for a very long time, almost two decades.
About town- Federal HST 124 grain, either standard velocity or +P, depending upon what shoots best in a particular pistol
On the road- Hornady Critical Duty 135 grain +P, for its penetration characteristics
Federal HST 124 grain 9mm in my carry gun and 2 spare magazines with about 6 boxes on the shelf.
I lucked out at Christmas gun show in 2019 right before COVID lockdowns and riots by getting Federal 9bple for $330 a case out the door during the last hour of the show so I got 3 cases put away, guy didn’t want to take them back home. Older design but like others have mentioned it works in every gun and still does the job
