I have an XL of sorts. The fcu is from the standard P365, so it has the curved trigger, which I really like. The grip module is by Icarus and has an aluminum frame and is very comfortable to hold and changes the pointability of the standard grip modules.

I’ve only shot the standard, the XL, and the macro (non-comp) and I went with the XL. It’s fun to shoot at the range and easy to carry. Maybe you could pimp out your P365XL and get an aluminum grip module? That’s one thing I was considering and then I went down the Radian ramjet and afterburner hole and think an Icarus grip with Radian RJ/AB would be a pretty kickass P365XL. Just need a new holster though.

But again to the OP, I think the P365XL is about the perfect do all gun you could want. I carry mine stock with a Holosun SCS.

I have 3 P365s. The original, now wearing a Wilson Combat grip module with the tungsten weights. A 365XL with the same Wilson Combat grip module and a 507k circle dot. Newest is a 365 AXG Legion with a Romeo X Compact Enclosed. I have been carrying the XL the until recently. I really prefer the aluminum grip ergos on the Legion. I have XL hands and the extra grip length and slim grip feel really good to me. I started carrying the Legion a month or so ago.

It’s pretty expensive but have you looked at the Icarus grip modules? XL size with aluminum feel, depending on which one you get.

I have looked at them online, but have not held one in my hand IRL. I just ordered a Sig aluminum X Macro grip module for my XL. I will retire the Wilson Combat grip module to back up duty.

That’s my issue, being able to get hands on with it before buying. I’m not sure any local FFL carry Icarus or Sharps Bros grips. I honestly think I might prefer the Sharps Bros since it’s a little thicker. My Wilson Combat almost feels too small and I don’t have big paws.

^^^^^^ Bass Pro and Cabela's have some Icarus grips to check out in their stores. I bought mine from a local Bass Pro when they had a sale on them for $299 plus some discounts: using their credit card you get 10% off and then another 5% for first responder. Their credit card is worth having for their monthly "Monday" discounts on line.

I never thought I would spend that much on a grip module but after handling it, I found it much better than any polymer module and gave me a more natural point of aim, without having to adjust my grip/wrist.

Nearest Bass Pro is 85 miles from me. I may call some LGS’ to ask if they have it. The texture seems a bit aggressive for CCW too maybe… The Sharps Bros grips seem less aggressive, but then it’s a thicker grip. That might not be a bad thing though, but would be nice to feel them both. A lot of money to drop on something without trying it.

I thought the same thing about the texturing but after actually seeing/holding it, it was no longer an issue. The only real/mild issue I have is with the built in thumb pad on either side of the frame, as it is a little sharp. It doesn't feel sharp enough to cut into your skin but is borderline.
