Congratulations

The 52 is a one hole shooter as long as you do your part

My shooter wears a Bomar rib for the extended sight radius and has been throwing lead down range for more than 3 decades noe

I have another one with a little scratching and some gold wire to make it look pretty

These Model 52s are all fine examples of an era that has passed us by.

Para: once you reopen the Classified Forum, I'm sure you can get premium prices for those anchors - especially if they are consecutive serial numbers!

I picked up another gorgeous Smith yesterday...39 no dash circa 1968

It seems like the Smith blueing was much nicer the older the gun was manufactured

Very nice

The first American DA 9mm. I’ve had a few over the years. Very classic

Very nice guns guys. The bluing on older model guns are really a thing of beauty and being solid steel, they should last a good long time.

I also love blued steel- especially older guns, or at least older gun designs.

Here is one of mine, but the pic doesn't really catch the quality of the bluing.

USFA built some 1911’s about 20 years ago and sent them to Turnbull for bluing. It reminds me of the bluing from Colt and S&W from the 50’s and 60’s.

Too bad USFA only built a few (maybe a couple hundred tops), because they were extremely nicely done, much like their SAA revolvers.

Gearhounds' FN post inspired me to take a few pics of mine...1956 model 1922 and a 1971 T-Series; that era of FN's turned out some of the nicest bluing ever, along with that era of Colts & Smiths.

Beautiful guns!

If you like religion, laws or sausage, then you shouldn't watch them being made.

Beautiful pics! You've got to love nice bluing and wood grips.

I've got a T-Series also and always felt they had some of the nicest bluing on any BHP.

Here is another of my 1911's, this being an ACW Prime 45ACP.
