Seppuku is an honorable death. This is more like a pack of whiney little Marie Antoinettes bitchin' at the Headsman for his choice of clothing and surprised to wake up with their heads in a basket... Smile

Very good point. So instead of our Mighty War Eagle with a Katana we dress him in a black hood and give him a guillotine. Big Grin

After a fair trial, of course...

If you look back , page 247, I wrote a bit on mine.

I like it, a lot..

Need to get a custom holster made but they haven't made the dummy guns yet.

So I have my 33 now and I think the next step is:

night sights
.40 barrel so I can swap
maybe a 9mm barrel so it's a 3 caliber pistol

But the high priority right now is a CCW holster.

What do you guys carry yours in?

I'm thinking about this:

I was also considering going non-traditional in caliber and going .460 rowland or .400 corbon.

I want a bear gun of a glock...

We'll see how it goes. Any experience there? How does the Dillon compare?

If you want a Glock bear gun, I would go with the .460 Rowland. It approaches the power of a .44 magnum. It will be more expensive and I would be concerned about the Glock holding up to 50% more muzzle energy.

I carry my G20 SF with two spare magazines in the woods with the factory six inch barrel for more velocity, a twenty-two pound recoil spring, and Buffalo Bore or Underwood 180 grain ammo. I am comfortable with protection from most two or four legged critters. If there are many signs of black bear, I usually switch to a .44 magnum or add a .44 magnum. If there are signs of large brown bear, I prefer my S&W 460XVR.

Thanks 1lowlife,I remembered seeing that review in a past life, I just didn't remember which one it was. It gives me the information that I was looking for and puts it on my radar for a possible purchase.

I know nothing about Glocks. Tell me about the 20? It's 10mm right? Is it good? Looks pretty swanky and seems affordable.

I recently bought an XDs and will take some side by side pics with the G30S.
I like shooting the G30S much more than the XDs, but the thinness of the XDs may make it my summer OWB carry gun.
I really like that the G30S fits in my most of my G19 holsters that I already own..

Check out the RM Holster Works Low Rider holster here: http://www.rmholsters.com/Products.php

Extremely well made, keeps the weapon low and tight against the body. Best IWB holster I've ever used (and I have a couple of shoe boxes full of rejects). IMHO, the G33 plus this holster is the best all-around carry package you can buy at any cost.

Best regards.

I love my Minotaur MTAC. I usually carry either my G23 or G32 in it, and it's super comfortable and secure.

On 3/25 I picked up a Gen 4 G23 and two days ago I picked up a Gen 3 G27 so now I have the whole trinity of .40 caliber service Glocks. I doubt I will ever get the competition model.

"The ugliest gun you will ever love."

Is that already a Glock slogan? It should be. When I bought my Glock 17, I held it in the gun shop and thought, "Really??"

Now I love it. And it's clunky look becomes a...strange...part of its appeal. (In addition to the fact that in over a year and innumerable trips to the range with countless rounds it has never jammed or failed to fire-- not once.)
