| High amount of rounds fired in short time can be a cause to the cracked frame, shooting double or triple taps all day long is not what the design was made for, but who knows... For the rollpins it's not the roundcount that is predominant, it's only when one or both pins cracks that the breachblock will move and add stress to the frame. The tip is: after every range sessions you must to try to move the breachblock up and down on both sides. If the breachblock moves, just a little bit , then the rollpins must be changed, if not, you're good to go. We have here in the swiss army lots of P75 with more than 20'000 rounds and no rollpins replacement. It's seems that the p226 is more prone to breack her rollpins than other P22X models, don't ask me why, i've read that somewhere. |
